New Reception Intake

WELCOME to our Reception intake information page

We are delighted that your child will be joining our school, and are very much looking forward to getting to know them!

Starting school is an exciting time and we understand that you will have lots of questions to ask us. We do hope that our carefully planned induction process helps the transition into school life. We always very much enjoy meeting you and your children during the induction period whether it be during our visits to pre-school settings, at our parent information evening or during the settling in sessions.

Cathy Wynn (Reception Class Teacher)

Cathy Wynn (Teacher)

Mrs Wynn has taught at Chalford Hill Primary School since 2000. She has 3 children (most of them now adults) and loves all creative activities and particularly enjoys teaching art and science. Having grown up in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, she loves to be outdoors and is a keen gardener and walker. She is always learning more about plants and nature and enjoys learning the names of wild flowers and trees. In her spare time, she loves to be with her children, create artwork, walk, cycle, play boardgames, garden and read.

Julie Clissold (Teaching Assistant)

Mrs Clissold joined Chalford Hill in 2021 after working in a playgroup as room leader. She loves to bake, spend time with her family and go on walks with her dog Harvey.

Mrs Liz Clarke (Teaching Assistant)

Mrs Clarke joined Hedgehogs Class in 2024. She has worked with various aged children but her favourite class is reception! Mrs Clarke enjoys spending time with her family, baking, walking, reading and playing the flute.
